Focus and Scope
The World Journal of Biology and Biotechnology will accept research/ review manuscripts and shorts communication ranging from, biology, nucleic acids/molecular biology, microbiology, physiology/biochemistry, medical biotechnology, agricultural and food biotechnology, genomics, bioinformatics, environmental biotechnology, botany, biology, animal husbandry, agricultural sciences such as soil science, plant pathology, entomology, agronomy, plant breeding and genetics, forestry, and horticulture.

Peer Review Process
World Journal of Biology and Biotechnology provides a platform with humane assistance for researchers working in the field of biology and biotechnology. Journal features an online system that allows for speedy submission, quality peer-reviewed and quick tracking within 06 to 08 weeks. During this procedure, Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board Members are obligated to maintain an ethical and honest standard.
Two subject experts will evaluate the impact of the submission and Editor-in-Chief will make the final decision for acceptance or rejection after carful examination. The author(s) will be notified through email, and any rejected contribution will always be supported as a fresh submission following revisions.
The Author(s) will modify the submission and provide the point-by-point revisions. The Editor-In-Chief will return final submission to the previous or new subject expert. The submission is formally approved for publication following the resolution of all editing concerns.
The text style, tables, and figure size will be changed, and a proofread version will be provided to the author(s), however only typos and scientific errors will be tolerated with the approval of production team and publication will be preserved in archives.

One Volume and Three issues each year and started from 2016
Issue 1 will be printed at April, 15
Issue 2 will be printed at August, 15
Issue 3 will be printed at December, 15
Accepted paper will be published online immediately
Open Access Policy
The paper published in World Journal of Biology and Biotechnology are freely available to scientific community for the exchange of global knowledge.
Archiving
The LOCKSS system is being used for preservation and restoration of the article published in World Journal of Biology and Biotechnology.
Editorial Policy
The journal will be produced three times a year, and published articles will be immediately available online for the scientific community. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration and corresponding author is responsible to make sure that each author has seen and approved the content of the submitted manuscript. The material will be peer reviewed by two subject experts, and the editorial board member's judgment will be final based on the experts report. The published work remains the authors' property to re-used and re-distributed, and they are not required to grant the journal copyright. Journal accepts no responsibility for the contents of published articles. The author(s) are exclusively responsible for the contents and their validity, and they shall be solely liable for the originality of published work. The opinions expressed in the articles are solely of the author/s and Journal may not agree with them in whole or in part. The Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing is supported by the journal, and papers are published under a CC-BY license (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License). Many research funding sources favor the CC-BY because it provides for maximal distribution and re-use of open access content.
Publishing Ethics
It is expected that the standards of estimated ethical behavior must be taken into consideration by all the members involved in the publication process, i.e., the journal editor, the peer review, and the publisher. The editors will make sure that all submitted articles that are being considered for publication go through a process of peer review by at least two subject specialists and decisions on the choice of papers for publishing will be made with input from the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Team. Authors will be invited to suggest reviewers; however, the editorial board may or may not entertain their recommendations. The editorial board's decision to appoint reviewers is final. Any invited referee should inform the editor and decline the invitation to participate in the review process if he/she feels unqualified to evaluate the research contained in the article or unable of providing a valuable evaluation. The reviewers should not consider papers that have conflicts of interest arising from cooperative, competitive, or any other parties (authors, businesses, or institutions) connected to the articles. Reviewers should be aware of relevant published material that has not been cited in the reference list, and it should be noted when findings or arguments have been documented in other publications. Additionally, any similarities between the submitted article and previously published works will be pointed out by the reviewers. Consideration should be given to maintaining the confidentiality of any knowledge or ideas gleaned from the peer review process. Reviews will be expected to be done objectively, and their conclusions are developed with convincing justifications to be applied to the manuscript's development. The results of the investigation will be utilized to objectively evaluate the significance of the publications, and they should contain enough information and references to enable further research.
The editorial board and editor's judgments will be aided by the peer review process, which may also help the author improvise on the text. The editor and the executive editorial board shall maintain the confidentiality of all information pertaining to manuscript submission. Additionally, the secrecy of the articles submitted for review must be protected, including for invited referees who turned down the review request. Without the author's express written permission, the editor and editorial board will not utilize any unpublished contents contained in a submitted paper. Regardless of the author's color, gender, religious affiliation, citizenship, political outlook, or institutional connection, the judgments will primarily be based on the significance, originality, and validity of the performed work and its relation to the journal's scope while additionally considered are legal criteria for copyright violation and plagiarism.
The corresponding (submitting) author is responsible for having ensured that all co-authors have approved the material and for managing all communication between the journal and all co-authors, before and after publication. Those who made a major contribution to the study should be included as co-authors, and those who did not fit the requirements for authorship but nonetheless contributed to the research should be included in acknowledgment. Any change to the authors list after submission, such as a change in the order of the authors or the deletion of authors needs to be approved by every author. In addition to properly citing the words and/or works of others, authors are expected to ensure the originality of their own work.
Submitting an article to different journals at the same time is unethical and inappropriate. It is the responsibility of the authors who submit material to the journal to properly credit and acknowledge the work of the other authors. Additionally, authors should be aware of the confidentiality of their correspondence with the journal: editorial board approval is required before posting reviewers' reports or other confidential information online or on any other platform. Authors may be asked to submit the raw data from the study they did along with their publication. Any unusual hazards related with the use of substances, methods, or equipment in the work must be fully disclosed by the author. When animals or humans are employed as participants, it is the authors' obligation to guarantee that the method is carried out in accordance with the appropriate laws and norms specified by the institution. The referenced articles should accurately state the type of the reported work that is being claimed by the authors. Authors should provide a description of what each contributed, and World Journal of Biology and Biotechnology allows two co-authors to be specified as having contributed equally to the work being described. Any conflicts of interest that may bias the results or interpretation of their work must be declared by all authors. If authors discover any flaws or inconsistencies in their own published study, they should immediately inform the journal's editor or publisher and work with them to either remove or fix the publication.

The CrossMark button will only appear on Scientific Press (SMC-Private) Limited content that is now published in journals or will be published in future.
To maintain the integrity of the literature, Scientific Press (SMC-Private) Limited publishes errata, expressions of concern, or retraction notices, depending on the circumstance and in accordance with the COPE Retraction Guidelines. These notices always include a link back to the original article.
